People have been playing drinking games since we first started drinking alcoholic drinks. These days, its something more popular among young university and college students but every once in a while, people play them at there own homes (House Parties).

The earliest proof of people enjoying alcoholic drinks with games goes as far back as ancient Greece. This drinking game was called Kottabos and was played in the 5th century BC. It was even depicted by the one and only ‘Plato’ himself in one of this paintings.

Drinking games in more countries quickly started to gain popularity. China, Japan and even parts of the Middle East and Europe were creating their own ways of having fun while consuming wine, beer and other similar alcoholic drinks.

Today drinking games hail from all over the world and are actually part of many modern day human cultures. For example: In Japan and other asian countries, drinking and singing (Karaoke) is almost an unofficial national pastime.
