How do you flush alcohol out of your system?

How do you flush alcohol out of your system has been a question asked by millions of individuals worldwide. Whether it is because of a physical, or a drug and alcohol screening, many people are interested in just what it takes to have the remains of the crazy party you went to the other day completely out of your system and have your body ready to go.

It has been proven that alcohol leaves the body in one of 2 ways, the first being through your breath, which is how a breathalyzer is able to determine your blood alcohol content. The remaining alcohol is broken down by your own body’s metabolism. Metabolism is a process by which your body takes and breaks down nutrients or excess material in your body for consumption.

Now even though everyone has a different type of body and no one is exactly the same given weight, height, and amount of food or drink that has been consumed, metabolizing alcohol is a universal constant. Now even though this metabolism rate is constant, there are certain tips and ways to be able to help it break down much faster. One way is to not drink your drinks consecutively.

This helps by allowing the body to break down the alcohol that is in your system already before you even start on the next drink Typically at a steady pace, if you were to wait a half hour after finishing your first drink before you started on your next, that first drink would be half ways gone already. Another way to help reduce the wait time is to make sure you eat before and/or during your alcohol consumption.

This is because a certain percentage of alcohol will actually get trapped in some of the food as it is being broken down. One way that I have used to help prevent a hangover and also to flush my body, is after I get home, I take 2 aspirins and drink 2 or 3 big tall glasses of water. The aspirins thin the blood out slightly and speeds up your metabolism. The water, (which a majority of out bodies are made up of) helps to dilute the remaining alcohol content.

If you’ve never taken aspirins before, please refer to your health doctor first as everyone has a different body type.

The basics we believe are eat while you drink and end the night with lots of water and you should be just fine. This is how you flush alcohol out of your system for good – And as always, drink responsibly.
